True North just released the new Winnipeg Jets logo late Friday afternoon upon learning it had leaked on the Internet via this picture showing the new Jets logo on merchandise. All that is available within 24 hours of that release are in small files of the logos so there isn’t a lot for me to work with to create wallpapers. However, for the early adaptors and fervent fans, of which I know there are many in Winnipeg, here are 10 designs below in 11 different sizes.

Harry Potter 7, the Deathly Hallows Part 2 Widescreen Wallpapers (1024×768 pixels)
These are 1024 x 768 pixel wallpapers from Harry Potter 7, the Deathly Hallows Part 2. They have been slightly customized from promotional graphics widely available to have more punch in their colours and annoying logos removed.
Please click on the wallpaper you want to view, then right click after it loads at full size if you want to download it (PC instructions, not sure what you do for Mac).
Please click here for Harry Potter wallpapers of all sizes, iPhone and Blackberry backgrounds, printable cards and Facebook tagging memes from HP 1 to HP 7-2.
If you’re using Windows XP, you can learn how to create your own customized Windows XP screen saver with instructions via this link.
I also have instructions for how to use Windows 7′s nice rotating background feature to rotate many of these wallpapers on your computer if you didn’t know how to enable it.

Transformers 3 Dark of the Moon Wallpapers (1024×768 pixels)
There haven’t been a lot of Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon graphics yet available to make wallpapers, especially all the other characters besides Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Shockwave. However, here’s what I’ve been able to find and enhance for wallpapers (as well as remove annoying corporate logos). When I get more, I will add to the collection.
Winnipeg Jets Team Logo Wallpapers for iPad and Other Monitor Sizes
Jul 23 update:
Please click here for wallpapers with the NEW Winnipeg Jets logos!
The new hockey franchise in Winnipeg probably won’t be called the Jets, despite all the nostalgic fans wanting it so.
Even if they do get called the Jets, they’ll have a new logo, despite all the nostalgic fans probably wanting the old uniforms to be worn.
However, I’m thinking some people will want some old Jets logo wallpapers cause when they left in 1996, wallpapers weren’t all that big a deal in the computer world, the Internet was just a baby… and not many people had widescreen and large monitors the size they are today.
So here you go, Jets fans. Enjoy! I got the graphics from various sources on the Internet and touched them up in various ways, from just adjusting contrast to combining graphics into new wallpapers.

I’ll finish the set later this week and remove this last sentence when done.
290 X-men Movies Wallpapers (1024×768 pixels)
These wallpapers are from the X-men movies before X-men First Class, for which there aren’t a lot of graphics to work with yet. I’ll post those separately when there are more. Most of these wallpapers are also available in other sizes and purposes, if this isn’t the size you want your X-men wallpapers in or wish to get them for your other phones, monitors and for printing.
- 1440 x 960 pixel wallpapers
- 1600 x 1200 pixel wallpapers
- 1920 x 1080 pixel wallpapers
- 1920 x 1200 pixel wallpapers
- X-men, X-women and Superheroes Facebook tagging
- iPhone, Blackberry, HTC and other cell phone backgrounds
- Printable picture cards and posters
Of all the wallpaper sets I’ve created on this site, I have to say this has been my favourite. I love the X-men comics, and I thought the casting and costumes created for the movies’ characters were fabulous! The movies were spectacular, too, and I only wished they put one out each summer. Goodness knows they’ve got enough story lines to create that many for a long time… and it’s not like they don’t make a ton of money, either!
