Oh, how a round changes things in March Madness! After the second round (now actually called third round), President Obama’s Barackets were standing at the 62.2 percentile. That is, his was ahead of 62.2 percent of the brackets submitted on ESPN. Well, after the Sweet 16, he is now standing in the 92.2 percentile! (see bracket links below).

Obama Brackets Doing OK After 2 Rounds
After Round 1, President Obama’s 2013 Barackets were hurting pretty badly, standing at the 19.1 percentile among ESPN brackets. However, a mad Round 2 saw a lot of the brackets belonging to people ahead of da Prez get busted (see link below), including mine. That left da Prez at 62.2 percentile among ESPN brackets submitted, or ahead of 62.2 percent of brackets submitted. He’s roughly beating 5 of every 8 brackets submitted, in other words.

It’s my favourite time of the sports year again, March Madness! As usual, President Barack Obama has submitted his “Barackets”. As usual, I will monitor it throughout the Tournament to see how it’s doing against the general public, and a few others’ brackets, including my own. I am 3-1 against da Prez in the past 4 years.

After Round 1 of the 2011 NCAA March Madness Tournament, President Barack Obama’s safe “presidential style” Barackets is beating 11,336 of about six million brackets, or about 99.8% of them!
Da Prez is where he is after Round 1 by predicting 28 of 32 correct picks in the round! That’s 3 better than where he was at this point in 2010.

The performance summary below was a nice little features the people at WordPress.com did for their blogs. Now if only I could find a way to turn it into some monetary income.
WordPress.com should set some traffic rewards where you can get credits to use to purchase their services, like storage space, or domain mapping. I pay for these things just to make this blog function the way I want it to. To think, I donate all this time to work on this personal interest, and people came here as much as they did (2.3+ million page views and about 700,000 downloads), and I still had to pay money to maintain it.
That small possible improvement aside, in my opinion, I would like to genuinely thank WordPress.com for all the hard work they do to provide such a wonderful blogging platform! I did do a review of most of the other well-known platforms before deciding on using WordPress.com and I am glad I did!
