Tag Your Top 10 Most Athletic Facebook Friends

This is a new type of Facebook tagging, and one that could get you in a lot of trouble, too! 🙂

It’s not because this Facebook tagging is “inappropriate” with language, images or topic. No. It’s because this is going to bruise some egos!

It’s meant for judgmental people so if that’s you, and you’re not afraid to bruise some egos, then go for it! The trade off is that you’ll also praise some people, like giving them an award, so you can also win some favours!

In this Facebook tagging, you have to decide who are your 10 most athletic Facebook friends and tag them.

Those 10 are going to be happy. Those who felt they could have been in the top 10 based on who they saw you tag, cause they thought they were more athletic than at least one of those tagged, won’t! Depending on their personalities, they’ll react in a variety of ways, some of which won’t be pleasant.

Do you think you can handle that? If so, then let’s get on with it!

Earth Day Goal 2010 Achieved, What to Pledge for 2011?

Happy Earth Day to you,
Happy Earth Day to you,
Happy Earth Day dear reader,
Happy Earth Day to you!

What are you going to do,
To keep sea and sky blue,
To reduce your C-O-2,
To be green the year through?

HAPPY EARTH DAY, EVERYBODY!

On Earth Day 2010, I pledged to eat “better” as my Earth Day goal for the year from that day.By “better”, I meant more local and more unprocessed foods, though I didn’t start out defining them that way, nor for the green reasons of food miles. Once I researched more and came to conclude food miles was a myth, though, I ate better for the economy and for my health. I’m sure it still has an environmental impact because I didn’t end up eating food grown in green houses here in the Canadian winter, that would have used up tonnes of excessive energy, but without being able to measure it, I couldn’t claim it for certain. One thing I am more certain, though, is that it saved me money not to be eating out so much as before given I don’t eat processed foods like frozen dinners that tend to be on the cheaper side, though I did eat more fast food than I should have.

Guitar and Ukulele Tabs for Blowin’ in the Wind, in 3 Keys (Bob Dylan)

Bob Dylan

Blowin’ in the Wind is a Bob Dylan classic that is not only simple in its chording, but can also be played in 3 different keys without needing any difficult chords or capo. That means no bar chords, or even chords requiring 4 fingers! You can play and sing it in the keys of A, D or G, depending on where you vocal range lies.

Or you can do it in all three keys as I have arranged and shown in the video below! You play and sing each verse in a progressively higher key as the urgency grows in the lyrics. Notes are included in the printable guitar and ukulele tab PDFs below the video.

Free Online Audio File Format Conversion Site at Media.io

It’s old news to some people, but it’s not to others, which is why I’m writing to share this.

Media.io is an online audio file conversion site that converts your sound files from one format to another. It converts quite a few file formats (see complete list below) into the most popular MP3, WAV, OGG and WMV formats. Why get freeware that does this that might not jive with some of your other software, or operating systems? Why settle for recording software that doesn’t save in some of these formats, or pay for really expensive software that does just for the sake of it? Just upload your file, choose the format you want it output as, and download the new file after the conversion is done!
