Growth here implies personal growth. I didn’t feel the need to lump in another six syllables to an already long quote that states my views on one aspect of difference between religion and spirituality. I think most people would get I meant personal growth since neither religion nor spirituality can help one physically grow.
As for explaining the quote, you know, it’s long enough to be specific in what I’m insinuating. You draw your own conclusions. 🙂
