Ah, you were so much older then, you’re younger than that now… and may you stay forever young no matter how much the times, they are a’changin’, you rolling stone you!

Man, can you believe the Bob is 70???

I sure can’t… mostly because my main association with him is through his music, and that’s mostly timeless, never aging, so the icon seems that way to me.

Dear God, please take lots of people on May 21st so I can have more space on Earth

Dear God,

This Judgment Day on May 21st 2011, please take as many people as You can. I know You have standards where, supposedly, only 3% of the people will make it to Heaven. However, if you wouldn’t mind lowering those standards a bit and take another 10 or 20 percent, that’d be great. The animals and people remaining, along with myself, would love to have a little more space on Earth.

Mikael Granlund’s “Lacrosse” Style Scoop Hockey Goal Video

Mikael Granlund, a 19 year old hockey player from Finland drafted 9th overall last year by the Minnesota Wild, just scored what may well be the play of the year on Friday the 13th of May, 2011!

On the IIHF World Championship semi-final stage against the Russians, at full speed stealing the puck in the corner, then walking around a player, then having that player chase him behind the net, Mikael scoops up the puck and puts it up and under the crossbar. He scored “lacrosse style”, as some like to say, to give Finland a 1-0 lead. But never mind my description. Have a look for yourself because words don’t do this goal justice!
