Starting My Adventure into Artificial Intelligence Robotics (Consumer Level)
As of today, the content of this blog will focus on my adventure into artificial intelligence (AI) robotics. The robots will be mostly consumer level, which many people in North America would be able to buy if they wanted. These AI robots will be the ones that will first permeate into society en masse. I will just be among the early adopters who will not only interact with them, but study our human and societal interactions with them. I might even push some social policies not yet inclusive of robots to get them ready for the future, such as transit fare policies for robots! 😉
Vote Early en masse so CNN can Call the US Election BEFORE Election Night!
You can start early voting today for the US, it seems, from what some friends were posting on Facebook. That’s almost a month ahead of time!
That led me to think with that much time, what if enough people went to vote that CNN and other news stations could call the election before election night?
Seriously, this could be done!
C’mon, American neighbours! Don’t make me wait. And don’t disillusion me on my perception of your collective intelligence and common sensibility.
Actually, forget about me! Don’t make the world wait. Nor disillusion it on their perception of your collective intelligence and common sensibility!
It’s a pretty obvious choice! Why prolong the inevitable?
One Bad Clown Beating Should Stop All This Clowning Around
Clowns have been at it again recently, making random appearances and freaking out people.
Hey, that’s fun! Who wouldn’t want to scare people like that?
Well, lots don’t but lots still would, kind of like practical jokes and Hallowe’en jokes, except on a more adult level with a little more creep. And as long as there’s no cost or consequences, what’s to stop someone from doing so?
Ah, but that’s the magic phrase!
If your life story were a jigsaw puzzle, what would it look like?
I wrote a short poem in tanka format about a week ago. In it, I pondered if my life story were a jigsaw puzzle, what would it look like? Now, and what I hope it would look like at the end.
Today, I finally did that “mental exercise” that could also be good for a writing exercise. My answer is below, but if you want to try it yourself, I would suggest you not read further until after you have tried it yourself, so as not to be influenced by ideas. 🙂
I enjoyed the exercise, and I hope you will, too, if you decide to give it a try.
The poem will be on my poetry blog on November 2nd. I have a large back log of short poems so I am sharing one or two per day in chronological sequence among sequences of poems in common collections.
