“In life, balance rarely means equality”
When most people think of balance, they often think of a scale, see-saw or some such thing where an equal amount of weight is required on both sides to make things balance. However, in life, how often have you tried to find a state of balance for anything and it resulted in exactly half of one thing and another? Or an equal fraction of each, like a quarter of each of four things?
This is true whether or not you’re thinking of the physical, or conceptual like state and religion. Even with the physical, because our bodies are not perfect, or we don’t share evenly for any number of reasons, striking that balance rarely requires actual “equality”. More often than not, that would ironically give you an imbalanced situation. 🙂
