US Considering Sending Troops to Canada-US Border (hopefully to keep their citizens at home)

So, the US is considering send troops to the Canadian US  to intercept illegal migrants as part of that US’ response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Wait, are you kidding me? They think Canadians want to escape our relatively under control COVID-19 situation, with universal healthcare, to go to their pandemic that’s probably out of control already, about to surpass China’s global total and become the #1 country for cases? And that’s only what they’ve tested for. Seriously? Is that how deranged that administration down south is???

They might consider putting troops there to keep their citizens at home, from fleeing to a less infected country with better healthcare system. In the same way draft dodgers came up here during the Viet Nam War to escape their policies at the time, there are probably a lot of people thinking of running to a safer haven in Canada to escape COVID-19! If anything, though I’m suggesting Canada do this, we should be putting troops on our borders to keep out potentially infected Americans from coming up!

As for that wall down south in Mexico, the Mexicans have declared Americans unwanted now and are probably grateful some of that wall got built. They may even be regretful a better one Trump proposed didn’t actually get done. Be careful what you wish for, I guess.

I’ll Be Referencing the US 2016 Election as 8/11

I seem to be developing a lingo of my own to talk about the 2016 US Election and its fall out. I’ve been avoiding saying the Shrump’s name correctly cause he’s that much of a caricature to me. Now, I’m going to refer to the 2016 US election as simply, 8-11.

Vote Early en masse so CNN can Call the US Election BEFORE Election Night!

You can start early voting today for the US, it seems, from what some friends were posting on Facebook. That’s almost a month ahead of time!

That led me to think with that much time, what if enough people went to vote that CNN and other news stations could call the election before election night?

Seriously, this could be done!

C’mon, American neighbours! Don’t make me wait. And don’t disillusion me on my perception of your collective intelligence and common sensibility.

Actually, forget about me! Don’t make the world wait. Nor disillusion it on their perception of your collective intelligence and common sensibility!

It’s a pretty obvious choice! Why prolong the inevitable?

President Obama’s 2013 Barackets Hurting Badly After Round 1

For the ESPN March Madness Tournament Challenge this year, I thought I’d do a little more analysis than just President Barack Obama’s Barackets.

After Round 1, da Prez’s Barackets are hurting badly relative to the nation’s performance (see bracket link at bottom). He only got 19 of 32 games predicted correctly. Not much better than a random 16 of 32, or 18 of 32 if the #1 teams were not picked to lose as they have never lost. This poor performance so far left his brackets at just 19.9 percentile among those entered. In other words, 4 of 5 brackets among 8 million are doing better than his (or 6,527,401). That’s kind of terrible and worse than his approval rating, I hate to tell ya!
