We look to technology, particularly high tech, for a lot of solutions these days. However, there are a lot of great “low tech” or simple solutions out there that we shouldn’t neglect scanning those opportunities for solutions, either. Same goes for simpler tech rather than more complicated and expensive tech. This podcast gives some excellent examples.

President Obama recently outlined six huge challenges he saw to the tech industry via Wired Magazine. Today, six of the tech industry’s leaders answered back in a very insightful article:
- Tim O’Reilly on tackling inequality
- Chris Dixon on strengthening cybersecurity
- Mark Zuckerberg on ensuring that artificial intelligence helps rather than hurts us
- Yasmin Green on keeping terrorists from using technology to plot and do harm
- Mary Barra on developing tools that will take climate resilience and clean energy mainstream
- Satya Nadella on making it easier for citizens to participate in their government
G1 Decepticons Wallpaper Gallery 1 (1024 x 768 pixels)
These wallpapers are iPad size!
I created the wallpapers with the mostly black backgrounds and in series of three across a row all with the same Decepticon. The Decepticon art came from the Transformer toy boxes, and were obtained from Botch the Crab’s Transformers Box Art Archive. However, I did my fair share of Photoshop magic to get them in the condition you see here, and then did the design on my own.

Star Wars and Wookies Facebook Picture Tagging Memes
I did not create these two Facebook picture tagging memes, but I did improve their quality and optimization for Facebook usage. I do not know from where they come so there is no source link. These memes involve Star Wars themes, though are a bit wacky in their own ways. The Star Wars characters are midget caricatures of the characters, whereas the Wookies one is just weird. But chacun son goût!
