This is what became of the dress shirt I cannibalized, about which I wrote the last week. It was one of my funner design dress shirts rather one of the more regal looking ones you’ll see after this, but I still like it a lot.

Create Your Own Facebook Status Feelings Challenge
Facebook has been rolling out options of actions, feelings and such with their status updates for a little while now. However, as anything with a choice, there are limitations. That said, there are a fair number of choices with the feelings from which you can choose, but they are still pretty generic. Fortunately, Facebook has allowed users to add their own feelings. That’s my challenge to you, should you want to accept it.
Creative Cuts and My Fashion Philosophy
This post elaborates on the sixth of ten elements of my fashion philosophy, which is if I were caught on security camera, there’d be no trouble describing me.
My Pink Star Trek Uniform for the Halifax Pride Parade 2012
Recently, I was privileged to be able to participate in the Halifax Natal Day Parade. I was with a float representing Hal-Con, Halifax’s sci-fi,fantasy & gaming convention run completely by much-too-dedicated volunteers. We had a truck and a whole bunch of people in cosplays of various style, including sci-fi, fantasy, steampunk, anime, board and video games, and some original characters. For the occasion, I made a pink “Pride in Star Trek” (The Next Generation) uniform, as shown below.

Ol’ Man Mose – For Those Who Like 1930s Music with F-Bombs
The next time someone tells you they think 1930s music is lame and tame, you let them listen to this little ditty by Patricia Norman, accompanied by Eddy Duchin and his band.
Warning: Explicit language.
That’s right, explicit language. If you don’t like it in your music, please don’t listen. You’ve been warned!
This was the first known song which had the F word in it, and it was absolutely scandalous when it first came out in 1938. In fact, it not only uses the F word, it uses it repeatedly. Read the lyrics and you’ll see why! Too bad there wasn’t a TV performance like the spectacular one by Betty Hutton, albeit to tamer lyrics, at the end of this post.
