Does the Transformers DVD Have Graphics Like These 2560 x 1600 Pixel Wallpapers?

Please click here for Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon wallpapers

No, but that’s why I have them! These are also available in my 1920 x 1200 pixels size collection (down-sized from these originals, not the other way around).

I know a lot of these wallpapers aren’t ideal because they are on white backgrounds instead of something darker or fancier, but I did it for a few reasons.

  • You can view the Transformers in more detail than in most other places you would have seen them.
  • You can easily crop out what you want for your own art work or design!

If you want to put these Transformers on black or other backgrounds, you go for it. It takes me too long to do it clean and well, as I had tried with Devastator. I thought it was the easiest to do given it doesn’t have all the light greys similar to the other Transformers, blending in with the pure white background. It still took me a while, with the many “holes” in the complex robot being tedious to fill with quality so the edges weren’t rough.

Come back in November and I’ll have some more added which will just have robots without names and insignia.

Other size wallpapers can be found at the links below. The smaller sizes have many more options as big files can always be converted to smaller ones, but smaller ones can’t be made into much bigger ones than their original sizes.

Enjoy!

By the way, what’s with that scene in the DVD commercial? The guy says “it’s not MY war” to an Autobot.

What kind of a sissy is that???

If you’re a guy and there’s a war going on with cool robots like the Transformers, you beg to get in and kick some you know what!

That’s horrible script writing!!!

76 Transformers, More than Meets the iPhone, iTouch, iPod Touch Wallpapers

These Transformers movies wallpapers are meant for all models of the iPhone, iTouch, iPod Touch, Palm Pre and just the Blackberry Bold 9000. However, you can also use these as profile pictures in Facebook or other applications that do not require a square picture.

The wallpaper size is 480 x 320 pixels, or similar in ratio to a 6″ x 4″ photo. Apple and Palm went the size ratio of typical photos that people take, whereas Blackberry went with monitor ratios for length and width, for the most part, interestingly enough.

My contribution to these wallpapers was the choice of cropping to get a nice picture, resizing to properly fit the iPhone, iTouch, iPod Touch, Palm Pre and Blackberry Bold screen, with some touch up to remove certain background, adjust punch of colour, etc. The small size of these wallpapers allowed for some beautiful close-up cropping of the monitor wallpapers I only wish I had resolution for to make printable pictures from to share! There are going to be some seriously stunning iPhones, iTouch, iPod Touch, Palm Pres and Blackberries out there with some of these and other wallpapers I plan to be making for them!

Enjoy!

To get the wallpapers, please:

  • Click on an image to see it full size.
  • Right click and choose Download or download in whatever ways your browser does.
  • Click Back to go back to this page or click a thumbnail below the large picture to move on to the next one.

You’re on your own to put it on your iPhone, iTouch, iPod Touch, Palm Pre or Blackberry, I’m afraid, cause I can’t justify the need for me to spend money on one so I haven’t got a clue how to do it!

Please click here for other theme wallpapers for iPhones, iTouch, iPod Touch, Palm Pre and Blackberry Bold 9000s.

While you’re decorating your iPhone or other cell phones, redo your voice mail with a singing message if you don’t have to worry about getting professionals calling you.

Transformers Movie Buddy Icons, Avatars and Profile Pics for Facebook, Twitter, Bebo, MySpace and Other Applications

Full icon size

Full-sized icon

These are pics from the Transformers movies which I found online and have resized to be used as avatars, buddy icons and profile pictures in any number of applications requiring them. However, I have made the pictures to be 256 pixels wide, and at least that high so as to be big enough for Facebook and MySpace Profile pictures, while not being excessive.

Please note that the square icons, marked with SQ at the end of their names, are more universally usable than the ones not square. That is because even in applications like Facebook, you can have profile pics of any proportion, but the way your pics appear in other people’s newsfeeds, is square. I tried to make as many square in shape, without wasting too much icon real estate, as possible, for this purpose.

To get an avatar:

  • Click on the thumbnail you want to get it at full size
(there is NO grey trim on the downloadable picture).
  • Right click on that picture and save to your computer.
  • Upload it to your Facebook or other profiles.
  • Click the Back button on your browser to come back to here or click the thumbnails below the picture to move on to the next picture.
  • Come back another day whenever you feel like using a new one, or download them all now!
  • Please click here for a complete list of avatars, buddy icons and themed Facebook profile pictures on this site (see blue header near bottom of destination page).

Come back every once in a while to get a new one and “transform” your online image! It is the Transformers, after all! Enjoy!

Transformers G1 and Movie Facebook Friends Tagging Meme Posters

At the bottom are four Facebook friends tagging memes of the Transformers.

The top one is from the movie Revenge of the Fallen, while the others are from the old so-called Transformers G1 (Generation 1) cartoons. I grew up with the G1 set, but that is not why I like it more. There is just way too much detail in the new robots. There aren’t easy faces to recognize and all their parts are so detailed it looks like one good punch and the whole robot would fall apart.

The middle one is of G1 Transformers, Autobots and Decepticons.

The third one is of G1 Autobots.

The bottom one is of G1 Decepticons, to tag your BAD friends with.

The graphics used for the G1 tagging poster is from Botch’s Transformers Box Art Archive, probably the greatest collection of Transformers cartoons out there! Wow! I can spend days on that site! The detail and completeness of the collection is phenomenal, although I’d have added a bit more punch to many of the scans (i.e. a tad more contrast and saturation). However, if you’re thinking of introducing this site to your kids, just be warned that there is at least a smattering of expletives there which I have come across. That’s not so much my criticism as something to take note since I am directing people to the site.

If you would like to use the poster below for tagging your Facebook friends, please:

  • Click on the Transformers poster you want below to get it at full size.
  • Right click on that picture and save to your computer.
  • Upload it to your Facebook profile.
  • Tag your friends.
