I have a TON of Transformers graphics on this website! However, none of them are in the awkwardly sized Facebook Timeline Cover photo format, so I’m going to start converting them for people’s uses! They are in the gallery below, which will grow as I find time to convert more and more. I’ll take off the “growing collection” notice when I am done. There are going to about a couple of hundred of these Transformers Facebook timeline cover photos for your use by the end of February, I hope, so please come back for more once in a while. After all, you can only use one at a time. 🙂

These are Transformers wallpapers I have found or made from graphics I found not originally made as wallpaper. Those I found I have modified in some way, often resizing and removing annoying fine print, though I have left names and/or links of original work. The quality and variety are terrific. Even if you didn’t care to have Transformer wallpapers, if you are a fan, many of these are definitely worth the click for full-sized look!

The Transformers wallpapers in this gallery are 1900 x 1080 pixels. Other size wallpapers can be found at the links below. The smaller sizes have many more options as big files can always be converted to smaller ones, but smaller ones can’t be made into much bigger ones than their original sizes.

Does the Transformers DVD Have Graphics Like These 2560 x 1600 Pixel Wallpapers?

No, but that’s why I have them! These are also available in my 1920 x 1200 pixels size collection (down-sized from these originals, not the other way around).

I know a lot of these wallpapers aren’t ideal because they are on white backgrounds instead of something darker or fancier, but I did it for a few reasons.

  • You can view the Transformers in more detail than in most other places you would have seen them.
  • You can easily crop out what you want for your own art work or design!

If you want to put these Transformers on black or other backgrounds, you go for it. It takes me too long to do it clean and well, as I had tried with Devastator. I thought it was the easiest to do given it doesn’t have all the light greys similar to the other Transformers, blending in with the pure white background. It still took me a while, with the many “holes” in the complex robot being tedious to fill with quality so the edges weren’t rough.

Come back in November and I’ll have some more added which will just have robots without names and insignia.

By the way, what’s with that scene in the DVD commercial? The guy says “it’s not MY war” to an Autobot.

What kind of a sissy is that???

If you’re a guy and there’s a war going on with cool robots like the Transformers, you beg to get in and kick some you know what!

That’s horrible script writing!!!

Generation One (G1) Decepticon Cartoon Avatars, Buddy Icons and Profile Pics for Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Bebo and Other Applications

The Generation One Autobot icons below appeared in the cartoon series from 1984 to 1986. Their names have a double digit after them indicate the year of their debut. History and most of the artwork were courtesy of Adam Botch the Crab’s Transformers Box Art Archive. More information on each Autobot can be found at the archive or Wikipedia. In the latter, there a pretty good sized entry for most of the Transformers! It’s all very fascinating if you love the franchise, though rather violent with the comic book sagas where Transformers have their heads blown off, literally!

I have added a bit more punch to most of the artwork scans (i.e. a tad more contrast and saturation). I have also converted them to 256 pixel square pictures, with the graphic as large as possible, for use as avatars, buddy icons and profile pictures. You can use these pretty much for any application, including blogging avatars, since most don’t need a graphic as large as 256 pixels. Facebook and MySpace tend to max that out.

To get an icon:

  • Click on the thumbnail you want to get it at full size
    (there is NO grey trim on the downloadable picture).
  • Right click on that picture and save to your computer.
  • Upload it to your Facebook or other profiles.
  • Click the Back button on your browser to come back to here or click the thumbnails below the picture to move on to the next picture.
  • Come back another day whenever you feel like using a new one, or download them all now!

The Transformers wallpapers in this gallery are 1900 x 1200 pixels. These are also good for some other monitor sizes, though, and the operating system on your computer should know how to scale them properly. There will be no distortion or warping of the images as the other sizes listed just below here are of the same proportion:

  • 1680 x 1050 pixels
  • 1440 x 900 pixels
  • 1280 x 800 pixels
  • 960 x 600 pixels
