Today’s Sermon: Jesus Without Underwear

Dear Congregation,

Recently, like many other congregations around the United States, we all went to see Man of Steel to better understand Jesus through the remarkable parallels found in Superman. I am serious. There were many other congregations whose pastors also led them to see Man of Steel (Daily Telegraph). And here some of you thought I was a heretic!

Haliscapes and Harbourscapes

Below are some of favourite photos among the many I had taken prior to 2010 of the Halifax Regional Municipality, mostly around the harbour close to which I live. Brief descriptions are below the gallery.

Monster Moves Music

PL_MonsterMoves-100TTThe Discovery Channel series Monster Moves is a about moving BIG, and I mean BIG, things. It’s as simple as that. As its motto says, No structure is off limits!

I don’t know much else about this series, not ever having watched a full episode from beginning to end because I don’t watch a lot of television. However, I can tell you the most moving thing I find about the show is its incredible choral compositions. The music on this show is amazing! I’ve included a few YouTube videos below that not only showcases the great music, but the monster moving feats involved. Enjoy!
