Who’s More of a Psycho, Donald Trump or Anthony Weiner?

After having been put in his place by President Barack Obama and shutting up for a while, Donald Trump decided to make an ass of himself again today by taking to YouTube and calling disgraced Congressman Anthony Weiner “a psycho”.

If you’re that interested in what the Donald has to say, you can look it up yourself because I’m not wasting my time to find it for a link or be willing to embed the video on my site.

But the Trumpster calling someone else a psycho??? C’MON MAN!!!

Seriously… oh, yeah. I forgot. You can’t take the Donster seriously.

A Little Canadiana for My Non-Canadian Visitors – The Log Driver’s Waltz

This very “Canadian” song crossed my thoughts today so I thought I’d share it, in its very “Canadian” video. It’s primarily for the majority of visitors to my site, who happen to be from places other than Canada. However, it’s also for my Canadian visitors who may well love it just as much as I do, or who may be hearing it for the first time.

It’s about as “Canadian”, as indefinable as that maybe, as any song ever has been for me. But you can “feel” it’s “Canadian” as you listen to it. It would also certainly rank among the most “Canadian things” for me.

Thank you for visiting. I hope you’ll come back for more good stuff in the future. And definitely come to visit Canada if you’ve never experienced this great country! Enjoy!

The Log Driver’s Waltz is a Canadian folk song written by Wade Hemsworth. The version you hear in the animated National Film Board (NFB) Canadian Vignette video above is the most well known version, performed by the McGarrigle Sisters, (the late) Kate and Anna, and the Mountain City Four.

Guitar and Ukulele Tabs for It Ain’t Me Babe, by Bob Dylan

Bob Dylan

The printable guitar and ukulele tab PDFs below work for many versions of this Bob Dylan classic because they’re rather similar except for speed, phrasing and accompaniment.

The most famous versions of this song are between Bob Dylan’s original* and Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash’s swingin’ country jig version.

Guitar and Ukulele Tabs for Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door by Bob Dylan (with extra lyrics)

Bob Dylan

There are two printable sets of guitar and ukulele tab PDFs for this song: one with Bob Dylan’s lyrics and one with his and mine.

On Bob Dylan’s site, Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door only has two verses of lyrics. Those would be verses 1 and 3 in my arrangement.

When he performed it on MTV Unplugged in 1995, though, he put in an additional verse that is verse 2 in this arrangement… because it best fits between the original two verses, in my opinion.

Got Something to Say

This song started out in version 1 as a rowdy and ruckus song about my opinionated self, for all the opinionated people out there. However, something happened on the way to finishing it over about 4.5 years and 5 versions. I got reflective and basically doubled the length of the song while halving its tempo to end up with a hippie sing-along that might well be good for kindergarten to teach children some good behaviour in life. 🙂

The song started down Positively 4th Street and ended up Where Have All the Flowers Gone, to put it bluntly.
