Below are 77 Star Trek Facebook Timeline Cover Photos. They were made from my collection of Star Trek wallpapers for various monitor sizes, mostly involving star ships rather than characters. Not all those wallpapers were suitable for the elongated Facebook Timeline Cover photo format so only some are here, but most of them worked. These are 1700 x 630 pixels, or twice as long and wide as Facebook says is necessary, in order to make sure they display well on widescreen monitors. My Pink Star Trek Uniform for the Halifax Pride Parade 2012

Recently, I was privileged to be able to participate in the Halifax Natal Day Parade. I was with a float representing Hal-Con, Halifax’s sci-fi,fantasy & gaming convention run completely by much-too-dedicated volunteers. We had a truck and a whole bunch of people in cosplays of various style, including sci-fi, fantasy, steampunk, anime, board and video games, and some original characters. For the occasion, I made a pink “Pride in Star Trek” (The Next Generation) uniform, as shown below.

My Klingon Makeover

On Saturday, June 2nd, I got a chance of a lifetime to be made over into a Klingon from Star Trek. It was part of a movie make-up demonstration by Marc Deveault of Trauma-Sim, assisted by Tansy Rudnicki, for Gus-Con at the Museum of Natural History in Halifax, Nova Scotia. It was a phenomenal experience which took about 1.5 hours, after which I roamed around the city in character with my friend Halley Davies, who was also my photographer and had a blast! The gallery below show the makeover process and a few modeling shots we got done.

Titanic Fanatics… Time to Get a Life!

Living in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where we have Titanic victims and history and all, the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic has been one seriously overblown melodrama in a province that thrives on traditionalism.

However, sadly for them all, the 100th anniversary just past yesterday and now it all will fade into obscurity again. That was their day in the limelight. Now that it’s over, though, thank you very much for the time and effort put in to preserve the legacy, but it’s time to get a life!

Star Trek 1600×1200 Wallpapers (TOS, TNG, DS9, Voyager, Enterprise, Movies)

These images are 1600 x 1200 pixels in size. I found them in all sorts of formats, touched them up and cropped them for these wallpapers. There are over 100 wallpapers here, and I will be putting up more. So if you have trouble deciding which one to use, I hope you’ll come back to pick a different one every now and then.

If you’re using Windows XP, you can learn how to create your own customized Windows XP screen saver with instructions via this link.

I also have instructions for how to use Windows 7′s nice rotating background feature to rotate many of these wallpapers on your computer if you didn’t know how to enable it.
