This Star Trek original series cotton pattern was probably made for pajamas, but they work well for tennis shorts… and some pretty interesting tennis shorts at that. 🙂
Below are 77 Star Trek Facebook Timeline Cover Photos. They were made from my collection of Star Trek wallpapers for various monitor sizes, mostly involving star ships rather than characters. Not all those wallpapers were suitable for the elongated Facebook Timeline Cover photo format so only some are here, but most of them worked. These are 1700 x 630 pixels, or twice as long and wide as Facebook says is necessary, in order to make sure they display well on widescreen monitors. I created these high resolution 6″ x 4″ printable Star Trek pictures from the Star Trek wallpapers which I have compiled on this site, and more will be coming!
- 1024 x 768 pixels
- 1280 x 960 pixels
- 1280×1024 pixels
- 1600 x 1200 pixels
- 1920 x 1080 pixels
- 1920 x 1200 pixels
You just take the file to a photo machine and print them just as is for about 20 cents apiece or less! They are already set at 300 dots or pixels per inch (dpi or ppi) for optimal printing. They make great cheap memorabilia to just have with you in many places you can find to stick a typical 6″ x 4″ photo! They’re nice to share or send to your favourite Trek fan, or trying to convert some. There is also enough resolution in these for small T-shirt prints or mug prints, or most small to medium sized photo gifts you can imagine. You could also use these to put on any small to medium photo gifts, whether mugs or small prints on a T-shirt (though much better than 6″ x 4″). These graphics are 1800 pixels wide by 1200 pixels high. Ask your photo gift printer if that’s enough for any ideas you might have.
I got the graphics off the Internet in many locations and touched them up in many ways to create these. These are not official Star Trek merchandise. They are just more of the million of pieces of “fan art” out there. Please do NOT sell these! They are intended for your personal use only.
I have bumped up the brightness on the wallpapers from which I created these postcards, so these would print well. I have to admit, I do like the increased brightness for many of the images, but the idea of screensavers and wallpapers is that they should not be too bright such that they could burn themselves into your monitor if left there for a long time. Plus, brighter images also consume more energy.
I’ll be back with more images I just got my hands on, hopefully in October. There will also be a post then for small poster sized images rather than just these little picture postcards, though you will be able to reduce them to these sizes, too!
