I’ve posted a lot of clothes I’ve designed and made on this site. However, the clothes have been mostly shown on a dress form, lying around or in terrible selfies I take. Recently, I was very fortunate to have had the chance to be in a few photos with Geena Grim of Grim Photography. This one is of me in the New Orleans Saints fleece coat I designed and made two years ago (more details in the link).
Thanks, Geena! And assistant Ken! I hope to have a few more in the future. In the meanwhile, please visit her Grim Photography page to see more of her beautiful work!
I just got back from a fantastic vacation in Nawlins (New Orleans) where I spent 2 weeks with my Parents in their life to see what their life was like there, not zipping around, doing crazy things and such Nawlins is infamous for. Of course, I did a little fabric shopping while there. Being a bit out in the suburbs, I wasn’t close to a lot of fabric stores except Hancock Fabrics and the fabric sections in several Wal-mart stores. Yet, this was great because they had what I was looking for, which was a lot of licenced “geek” themed fabrics at affordable prices not found in Canada… or at least in Halifax where I live. As a result of all that, my fabric shopping haul this time probably won’t interest too many of my lady friends in the Atlantic Sewing Guild. Those dark lines are not part of the print!
This is the New Orleans Saints fleece jacket I just completed. A full zipper up jacket lined with anti-static Bemberg fleece so I won’t get electrocuted wearing it, and not just a fleece vest unlined like so much fleece wear you find. The project was the most inefficient and challenging I’ve taken up to date because I was trying too many new things at the same time. Continue reading
Below is a gallery of the new Nike NFL uniforms. Have a look and take the poll to tell people if you like them. You can also comment. Tell me what you think, and I’ll tell you what I think… if you care for what I think. 🙂
This gallery is easier to view than the NFL site’s gallery because there are no frequent advertisements interrupting your viewing here, and the thumbnails are labeled and in order! Seriously, NFL.com, you can do much better than that!
Are there NFL fans on Facebook? You betcha there are!
Would those NFL fans use their team logo banner as the Timeline profile cover photos? We’ll see, I guess.
Below are over 200 NFL team logo Facebook Timeline profile cover photo graphics covering every existing team. Hope I’ve got one you like for your team! Logos are listed in alphabetical order of team city (Arizona first, Washington last). I made these from my large collection of NFL team logo wallpapers customized for varying monitor sizes.
