I seem to be developing a lingo of my own to talk about the 2016 US Election and its fall out. I’ve been avoiding saying the Shrump’s name correctly cause he’s that much of a caricature to me. Now, I’m going to refer to the 2016 US election as simply, 8-11.

Fashion Designer Spotlight: Alexander McQueen (and Sarah Burton)

Alexander McQueenFor January, I’m choosing to focus on some works I’ve seen a lot of lately, which is that of Alexander McQueen. However, much to my shock, in gathering profile material for this post, I found out he’s been deceased for almost 3 years (Feb 11 2010). Hey, I never said I was a fashionista up to date on all the news! I just look at some of the fashion where I find it and learn from it. Anyway, I’ve been seeing a lot of Alexander McQueen’s work done by Sarah Burton, who had taken the reins of the Alexander McQueen line. That does not mean this post has been wrongly attributed, though. A lot of what I saw of Alexander McQueen’s work which appealed to me go back before his death. There’s just also been a lot of it after his death as well.

Interesting Facts and Insightful Sayings for a Happy Mother’s Day

Mother's Day ComicHappy Mother’s Day, everyone! It’s the third biggest holiday next to Christmas and Easter, by some measures, although I have doubts that includes some non-Western holidays. However, if the world celebrated Mother’s Day, it would be easily the biggest holiday on the planet because we all have Mothers. Of course, we all have Fathers as well, but there aren’t nearly as many deliquent Moms as there are Dads so Mother’s Day would rule. It already does given Father’s Day doesn’t rank with Mother’s Day in the measure previously mentioned.
