Last week, I went 12 right and 4 wrong for straight up winner picks. That was tied with the best ESPN analysts. My data model would have had 14 but me and my stupid instincts overrode two choices. Here are this week’s picks, with only one override, Peyton Manning and the Broncos over KC tonight.
After Day 2, President Obama’s Barackets are slightly busted like the majority of entries. However, they’re still plenty good to be ahead or tied with 91.8% of entries after Day 2. That tie includes my entry. However, I have a slight probability edge among points remaining in that I didn’t lose a team slotted to make it to the Elite 8, like the POTUS did with Duke.
All this so far is great for having lots of teams left, and higher probability that you can get the remaining games right if it were a straight lottery (i.e. more tickets than others). However, it isn’t a straight lottery, and the stakes now double per game in the next few days in the Round of 32, at 20 points per game instead of 10 for the Round of 64. So things can go up or down hill REAL fast!
Let’s get it on!
The GI Joe 2: Retaliation movie was supposed to have been released on June 29, 2012. About a month beforehand, it was delayed a full 9 months until March 29, 2013! The “real” reasons have been cited as poor 3D rendering, fan favourite character Duke getting killed way too early on, fan reaction test scores being mediocre to bad, etc. (Collider.com)
Well, I don’t buy that.
Pyjamas are all too boring these days. So when I recently saw some great cheap $3 a metre fabric that screamed out pyjamas at me, I bought it and made a set of custom fit designer pyjamas for myself.
Here are some widescreen wallpapers from Harry Potter 7, the Deathly Hallows Part 2, at 1920 x 1080 pixels in size. They have been slightly customized from promotional graphics widely available to have more punch in their colours and annoying logos removed.
Please click on the wallpaper you want to view, then right click after it loads at full size if you want to download it (PC instructions, not sure what you do for Mac).
