Watch Earth from Space (Discovery Channel Documentary)

Earth from Space is by far the best video I have ever seen about the Earth. The videography is absolutely stunning, but the information presented also rivals that. See how natural forces work on Earth, on its own and, of course, together. You really get a sense of how everything influences everything else. There’s a TON of information to learn, then contemplate consequences after that. Headache medication makers should really sponsor these awesome documentaries!

My Klingon Makeover

On Saturday, June 2nd, I got a chance of a lifetime to be made over into a Klingon from Star Trek. It was part of a movie make-up demonstration by Marc Deveault of Trauma-Sim, assisted by Tansy Rudnicki, for Gus-Con at the Museum of Natural History in Halifax, Nova Scotia. It was a phenomenal experience which took about 1.5 hours, after which I roamed around the city in character with my friend Halley Davies, who was also my photographer and had a blast! The gallery below show the makeover process and a few modeling shots we got done.

My Superman in the Sky Designer Pyjamas (from Simplicity 4378)

Pyjamas are all too boring these days. So when I recently saw some great cheap $3 a metre fabric that screamed out pyjamas at me, I bought it and made a set of custom fit designer pyjamas for myself.
