Make Students Earn Loan Forgiveness, Not Just Give It to Them!

Recently the province of Newfoundland decided to abandon student loans and just give away grants. Now, other provinces, including my own of Nova Scotia, are being called upon by students and others to do the same. I say BS to that and propose a far better idea.

HULK Tennis Cosplay Shorts

Anybody wanna cosplay tennis with me?

That’s what I’ve been asking people ever since I came up with an idea for tennis wear version of cosplays when I saw some “abs” T-shirts at Walmart, like this one of the Incredible Hulk’s upper body. When I saw those short sleeve T-shirts that obviously can’t be part of a cosplay since they don’t cover the entire arm, I immediately thought of making shorts that would function in the same way. The resolution is more than good enough to create a 3D print of the planet, at something like a room sized scale, and maintain all of the details captured, in my opinion. If done smaller, you’ll even lose some details! That is, the information might be finer than the 3D printing technology that is currently available!

So the only thing remaining for me to ask is who will be the first?

I think that would be quite something to see, Pluto in 3D compared to just a speck of light we knew of its appearance only a short prior to whenever they get enough information to print the 3D model!

Modern Tennis Racquets Painted Like Wood?

I play tennis and I had a thought this morning. Modern racquets are a nice glimpse of successes of material science. Everything from the strings to frame to grip. They’re also painted to look advanced and “cool” as well. But there’s plenty of it out there, and a lot border on ghastliness!

Why doesn’t someone make a modern racquet and paint it as if it were wooden?
