I didn’t know these fuels were practical enough for commercial use already, so that’s great! Now, if they could settle on one name for each!

 

Syngas or Synthesis Gas

A fuel gas mixture consisting primarily of hydrogen, carbon monoxide, and very often some carbon dioxide

 

Synfuel or Synthetic Fuel

A liquid fuel, or sometimes gaseous fuel, obtained from syngas

 

Synthetic or Non-fossil Kerosene

Kerosene used as aviation fuel that is created without fossil resources

I should have known there was a term for flight shaming. Just about everything else has a shaming word these days, it seems.

With the third term, multi-passionate, that’s very core to my identity and I’m glad there is a word for it!

Train Bragging

Social movement to show off travel by train rather than by plane for climate change benefits
