When you buy a jar of jam, how many sandwiches do you expect it to cover? How many sandwiches do you think it will cover if you’ve never thought about it? Do you have any idea? Do you even care? If you didn’t, maybe this would be a fun posts for your kids or kids you know if you didn’t have any. I’ve been curious all my life, but never took the time to search or find out. The answer is probably somewhere online, with variance as different jams, especially those with solid fruits, different jam spreading styles, among other factors, can influence the answers. But that’s why I went to do my own experiment to find out. And good thing, too, as it turned out, because a quick search revealed no such answers online!

Answers for Tim Ferriss’ Question 8 from Tribe of Mentors
One of my favourite podcasts is the Tim Ferriss Show. Among the many things Tim is successful at in addition to a podcast host, is being an author. Of his books, there is one called Tribe of Mentors: Short life advice from the best in the world, presumably about life advice that is short rather than advice about living a short life. It is based on answers to 11 really good questions that Tim needed to answer for himself at one point in his life, and of which he asked some people who he most admired to see what they would say so he could learn from the best. A sample can be heard in this podcast episode link, along with more about the questions and their sequence.
Fulfilled Contract with Myself to Become a Writer
I am super fortunate to be able to get a lot of not too expensive things in life without having to save up for it. However, that doesn’t mean I usually just go and get them, especially if they were over $50. No, I like to do things to keep some good characteristics sharp, like wait for a sale, make myself save some money elsewhere from usual routines, do something to “earn” it, among others, including combinations thereof. Well, after 100 days of writing this year to start my minimal two year journey into writing, I got myself a decent chair to sit and write in!

Blog Audience Time Used or Wasted

Over the years, I have occasionally wondered, how much time I have taken up in people’s lives with them looking through my blog content, and if that time had been well used or wasted? Or more likely, what amounts or proportion of time I have taken up of each as I’m sure there’d be lots of people who would tell me they got something they deemed worth their time on my blog, and also lots of people who would also tell me they regretted wasting the most valuable asset they had in life, which is time, on my blog.
