NAVA New American City Flags Survey Results Visualization

A few days ago, the North American Vexillological Association (NAVA) released results from their New (since 2015) American City Flags Survey to media in the 312 cities who had flags in the survey. They also released the results to select other media outlets they have relationships with for decades. Supporting this news release was a data visualization I did to show the full results in an interactive way, including images of the flags discussed.

Renaming the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tomahawk Missile?

So what I’ve decided is that I would collect these into posts until I get 500 words and post them. If nothing else, they will serve as a repository for me for potential future posts. Two Pro Championships in Missouri???

Congratulations to the Kansas City Chiefs as Super Bowl LIV champions in 2020!

First, we had the shocking St Louis Blues win the Stanley Cup in the spring of 2019, for the first time ever!

Now, for the first time in 50 years, the Kansas City Chiefs are Super Bowl Champions!

They’re also based in Missouri!

Wait, TWO professional championships in Missouri???

What’s happening with the world???

Well, whatever it is, I know I’m going to be enjoying hearing this old favourite more often over the next year!
