Menswear Jealousy Over Womenswear Attention Unjustified

I just accidentally came across an article on why Menswear thinks it’s really unfair that people only talk about womenswear, and it was such a good LOL I had to write a response. 🙂

Look at the primary highlight picture. Those are guys in plaid suits. I think those things have been around for at least a century. They’re not even of an original cut and style! Who wants to talk about generic fashion that’s been around for more than a century?

Giants Matriarch Ann Mara Passes Away on Super Bowl Sunday

There’s never a good day to die… unless you’re Klingon. However, if there were a day for New York Giants football matriarch Ann Mara to pass away, Super Bowl Sunday would be as symbolic as any. She passed away due to complications from a head injury in a fall a few weeks ago (ESPN).

It’s very sad news for the football world on an otherwise big happy day, or more tragic if you dislike the Seahawks and utmostly loathe the Patriots as much as I do.

But here’s to remember a complete class act in Ann and the Giants. Rest in peace, Ann, and soon joy as the Giants will be back at the top again I’m sure.

Me in my New Orleans Saints Fleece Coat

I’ve posted a lot of clothes I’ve designed and made on this site. However, the clothes have been mostly shown on a dress form, lying around or in terrible selfies I take. Recently, I was very fortunate to have had the chance to be in a few photos with Geena Grim of Grim Photography. This one is of me in the New Orleans Saints fleece coat I designed and made two years ago (more details in the link).

Thanks, Geena! And assistant Ken! I hope to have a few more in the future. In the meanwhile, please visit her Grim Photography page to see more of her beautiful work!
