Menswear Jealousy Over Womenswear Attention Unjustified

I just accidentally came across an article on why Menswear thinks it’s really unfair that people only talk about womenswear, and it was such a good LOL I had to write a response. 🙂

Look at the primary highlight picture. Those are guys in plaid suits. I think those things have been around for at least a century. They’re not even of an original cut and style! Who wants to talk about generic fashion that’s been around for more than a century?

Me in my New Orleans Saints Fleece Coat

I’ve posted a lot of clothes I’ve designed and made on this site. However, the clothes have been mostly shown on a dress form, lying around or in terrible selfies I take. Recently, I was very fortunate to have had the chance to be in a few photos with Geena Grim of Grim Photography. This one is of me in the New Orleans Saints fleece coat I designed and made two years ago (more details in the link).

RUN Dress Shirt

This is my prototype for a short sleeve summer dress shirt, but which could also be worn during winter with a turtleneck or similar long sleeve T-shirt underneath. It’s nothing too grand, but fun to wear. The pattern is related to running, which I had done extensively in the past and still do today in a recreational manner. Of particular interest to me was the fact I now had a shirt with “No Pain No Gain” written on it.

PEANUTS Pajamas

Nothing special here. Just a nice flannel print of Peanuts cartoon characters, then and now, sewn into a very comfortable, but form fitted set of pajamas. I need to get myself a photographer to show how nicely these things fit, and so I don’t have to stand in awkward stances to get selfies.

Slowly but surely, I am replacing pretty much my entire visible wardrobe (no socks and underwear or undershirts, basically).
