Finalist 3 for the People’s flag
Where the forest meets the ocean, modern heraldic style

DESCRIPTION
“A diminishing blue wavy from the bottom, on white, stops halfway up where five green, triangular shapes representing trees are spread horizontally in the upper half.”

REFERENCES
Shelburne DM has a flag, but has never responded to my request for what it looks like, so this will have to be for the People’s flag. The motto of the municipality is where the forest meets the ocean, represented by the green triangles for trees and blue wavy, respectively. The modernization is in the diminishing size of each space in the wavy, like waves breaking on to shore. Meanwhile, the trees are rendered as isosceles triangles similar in proportion to the detailed tree silhouette in the municipal logo.

This is a personal project I have been doing for a year, not an effort by the municipality or its citizens.
