Heart in the Middle
DESCRIPTION
“A red heart sits at the enlarged intersection of a vertical road dividing the horizontal in half, with lush light green to its north and water light blue to its south.”
RATIONALE
Plays on Middleton’s moniker of being the heart of the (Annapolis) Valley and its geographical location as halfway on the east-west running highway from central Halifax to southern tip Yarmouth in Nova Scotia, from which it got its name. Lush lands lie to the north of Middleton, while the waterway that marks its southern border.
This is a personal project I have been doing for a year, not an effort by the municipality or its citizens.
