Fractal logos
While waves were on my mind for Designs B1 and B2, I realized that the musical note white space in the logo partially created by the wave crests were close to being circular in nature. With the logos also being circular, I saw the opportunity to create an infinitely repeating design like a fractal where an image can naturally hold a copy of itself (or 2 copies, in this case). I would just need to tweak that music note shape in the logo a tad to make it a better fit. While it is technically forbidden to be altering branded logos, of course, the fix was so small that nobody would know the difference, especially not with the logo within where the viewers would focus on the evenness of the white trim around the logo embedded rather than the actual shape of the music note modified. I compromised between an imperfect circular trim, as would be expected of a non-circular music note shape, and not too imperfect of a trim that would have been if I had not altered the music notes at all.

REFERENCE
Inverness County, Nova Scotia, is one of four counties on the island of Cape Breton. It has a population of about 17,000 in a land area of 3817 sq km (1474 sq miles). The county is known for its three main things. The first is its Scottish/Gaelic heritage, with some Acadian history in villages such as Cheticamp, and Irish influence. The second is its beautiful scenery of the Cape Breton highlands, often bordering the ocean with scenic cliffs, look offs, and drives. Finally, it has a strong musical scene and reputation of fiddling, Scottish, and Irish music and dancing. For these reasons, it was branded as “Canada’s musical coast”, with a logo to match.
