INVERNESS COUNTY, NS
Design A1
Logo on Canadian pale
This is a standard design that is suitable for Canadian municipal flags, as relatively uninteresting as it is. However, some governing entities will prefer it so it should be part of a Canadian municipal flag design set where feasible (ie. the logo isn’t long horizontally). While I am not a big fan of city or municipal logos on a flag, I don’t think those governing bodies would be all that keen on a design without that logo they usually spent a notable part of their budget to create. As such, unless the logo has lettering in it, most of the flag designs I propose for municipalities with logos will have that logo.

REFERENCE
Inverness County, Nova Scotia, is one of four counties on the island of Cape Breton. It has a population of about 17,000 in a land area of 3817 sq km (1474 sq miles). The county is known for its three main things. The first is its Scottish/Gaelic heritage, with some Acadian history in villages such as Cheticamp, and Irish influence. The second is its beautiful scenery of the Cape Breton highlands, often bordering the ocean with scenic cliffs, look offs, and drives. Finally, it has a strong musical scene and reputation of fiddling, Scottish, and Irish music and dancing. For these reasons, it was branded as “Canada’s musical coast”, with a logo to match.
