CLARK’S HARBOUR, NS (Canada)
Design 4a
Square cross crosslet
The cross crosslet is an interesting symbol visually that is also very rarely used. Put in a square as in this flag, it created a very distinct image that has contrasting feels of ancient heraldry and modern art or computer pixelation, with lots of simplicity and symmetry. Like it or not, it is certainly a simple, yet distinct looking flag!
Constructive criticisms welcomed. Thank you.
REFERENCE
Clark’s Harbour is a small municipality in southwestern Nova Scotia, and home of the famous Cape Islander lobster and fishing boat design. The town has its own coat of arms (pic 2), from where this design takes its sole symbol.
