There aren’t many days left in 2011 as I write this. To appreciate it, I’m going to post a Facebook status each day that starts with

• You know it was a good year when

and ends with a reason why it was a good year. Why?

It’s a great feel good way to end the year, to remind yourself of the reasons it was a good year, even if among it all, you had reasons why it was a bad year.

It might actually be better for those who had a bad year to do this, because bad things have a way of lingering longer and hurt more in our memories and good things make us feel good.

So if you’re game, try it and challenge your Facebook friends to do so.
