After a TikTok I made in January documenting some waves crashing through the Halifax Waterfront boardwalk unexpectedly received over ten thousand views (currently approaching 50k), I got another surprise with another damage documentation after a snow storm. This one has surpassed 110k views!

Upped my Gift Wrapping Skills
Before Christmas, I was asked to volunteer to do giftwrapping for a charity. I was going to say no, only because I was a terrible gift wrapper, but I decided to finally remove a weakness I’ve had for over 50 years… despite being a good origamist who can fold paper like most people can’t!
My First TikTok Surprise
After 199 consecutive posts of mostly flag designs, I am no longer ahead of the game to post more. At least not posts I can yet share, or that I’d care to share because I discarded those designs without using them for my initial consultations. But I’ve been active on TikTok of late, so I’ll share some of my adventures there in this and future posts.

The People’s Flag bid
Instead of showing the Instagram post where this design was shown, I will show it AND the TikTok post that encompassed the Instagram post with the same features, without need for the user to scroll, and added some music. I have chosen the same music for all finalists in a given set so as not to have the music influence the designs differently. The Instagram post is at the end if you preferred to see some information for different amounts of time than the TikTok post. Progression in my presentation! I have also gone back to update the finalist flag posts for Middleton to show the same thing.
