Montreal has some gorgeous churches. While in Montreal in 2023, I was in the vicinity of la Basilique-cathédrale Marie-Reine-du-Monde de Montréal (Mary Queen of the World Cathedral), and took the time to visit. After viewing and saying more than my fair share of prayers for the world, friends, family, and a few for myself, I took a little spinorama style panorama video of the place.

Descending the Stairs of Sacre-Coeur in Paris
Sacre-Coeur is a glorious church in Paris. Inside are two very tight spiral stairways, of which I have captured the one used to go down after knowing what to expect in having gone up. It would be boring to watch me go down at regular speed, though, so I sped it up and accompanied it with what I deemed to be a dizzying piece of music at breakneck speed to it, The Flight of the Bumblebee, by Rimsky-Korsakov.
The view at the top was breath-taking, by the way. I would highly recommended. However, I didn’t capture any footage because I was having a personal visit with God, and They don’t like it when They don’t have your full attention. 😉
Thanks for the time and advice, God. I hope you’ll keep your promise on all those prayers I gave You! 😉
What Will They Rebuild at Notre Dame?
As you probably have heard by now, Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris was partially badly destroyed in a fire. Some parts were saved, like the Towers. Others were not.
For the parts destroyed, what will they rebuild there?
Will they go old school and build a replica of what was there? It wouldn’t be authentic.
Will they build something new that probably wouldn’t go well with the old towers?
Will they build something still of the cathedral architecture scheme, just a tad more modern so as to avoid the authentic comparisons, but still maintain the gist of it?
Will they dare take the entire thing down and rebuild something new all together?
