My First Chatbot! (built without code!)

I recently completed IBM’s FREE CB0103EN course called Building a Chatbot, and produced my first chatbot that can be found on a WordPress powered site here. Look for the purple icon in the lower right if you were accessing on a tablet or computer.

I can’t believe this technology is available at this simple a level for the masses now! IBM Watson Conversation is what powers this chatbot, and it’s pretty impressive!

My Version of the Pick 3 Daily Routine for Prioritization

A week ago, I heard Randi Zuckerberg talk about her Pick Three book’s concept on a podcast with Cal Fussman, in a wonderful episode about many more important issues. The Pick Three concept was that for each day, you identify three priorities to focus on a little more than other things to be able to do those three things well. I loved the idea, enough that I have decided to incorporate it into my life for at least 2019! However, I did not go buy the book (no offense intended to Randi), because as I researched more about the book and method, I thought I could create my own to suit my life and attitudes towards how to do this. So here is what I came up with for my Pick 3 system, with number to differentiate from Randi’s, in no particular order of presentation:

My 2019 JOMO Social Media Challenge

There are many ways to reduce time on social media, from plans to the newly available time spent on your device (which maybe limited to only certain apps you can customize). I have come up with what I think is a rather simple, effective, and easily “measurable” method I know can work for me, while still be challenging since this is a challenge. Pending your “need” for social media, it may work for you as well, though you may need to do some “setting up” to help make it work.
