I’m no fan of canned soup, let’s be clear on that. However, I will make use of it under the right conditions, like if someone gives it to me. I just won’t use it on its own, but rather as a shortcut to something much more delicious. Recently, someone gave me a can of Tim Hortons Butternut Squash Soup, and this is what I mean by how I use it.

A Boston Dynamics Robot Dog
I ran my 35 and final marathon in Lyon in October, 2023. While at the fitness fair waiting to get my race package, one thing I definitely did not expect to see was a robot dog by Boston Dynamics. I had heard lots about the company, and seen videos of their robots that amazed me. However, seeing this robot dog was still an experience on its own, even though the dog didn’t exactly do much. AI and the robots are coming. Are you ready?
I am, cause I made friends with it and other AI and such, in hopes they’ll kill me last as their friends lol. But maybe they’ll kill me first for my silliness. 😉
Engine Room of Lake Geneva Tour Boat
While on a tour cruise of Lake Geneva, coming back from the far end where there wasn’t a lot to see twice, I realized the engine room of the boat was open for viewing. At that time, I got out my phone and captured what I thought was quite the cool engine room!
My Marathon Finishers’ Medals Collection
With my 35th marathon completed in Lyon in October, 2023, and me switching to sprinting that is my strength given my fast twitch muscle build and single speed gene in my DNA, I did this video of those marathon finishers’ medals. 35 for 35 to finish marathons I started, including Boston one year I chose to go after qualifying, but not others. Tons of incredible memories, friendships, experiences, and so on, including many I never thought I would have because I never believed I was capable. But I did my part to help my luck, and let Fate help in the other part of the contribution, and those surprises were the best! Not bad for a guy who once had trouble running around the block, and a kid who once had trouble walking around the block!
