REGION OF QUEENS MUNICIPALITY, NS (Canada)
Design 3G
Sun with 13 vertical stripes
In this design, the square with the sun in Design 3B was moved completely to the hoist in this design. Thirteen vertical stripes, 6 teal interspersed evenly with 7 white, each stripe representing a community in the municipality, filled the fly half. A white stripe is next to the mauve square for maximum contrast.
This municipality recently told me they have a flag featuring their coat of arms (pic 2 of post), but no more detail. So this is now just a design exercise without possibility of collaboration or adoption.

REFERENCE
The Regional of Queens Municipality is a regional municipality in southwestern Nova Scotia that is a centre of outdoor activities with diverse geography within its 2,760 sq km (1,070 sq mi) area. Its boundary includes all of Queens County except for First Nations reserves, formed in 1996 through an amalgamation of the Town of Liverpool and the Municipality of the County of Queens with 12 other communities. Queens RM has a coat of arms and modern logo branding (Queens Coast with a QC initialed logo using a different colour scheme). Both are shown in pictures behind the flag in each post.
