REGION OF QUEENS MUNICIPALITY, NS (Canada)
Design 3B
Sun on fimbriated Canadian pale
The Canadian pale field is often used by Canadian municipalities and provinces. However, the current Queens RM colour combination doesn’t allow for a Canadian pale design without fimbriation as shown, if one wanted some contrast, so it is with this design similar to the tricolour in Design 3A in terms of lines dividing the field, but with a very different look with everything else moved around.
This municipality recently told me they have a flag featuring their coat of arms (pic 2 of post), but no more detail. So this is now just a design exercise without possibility of collaboration or adoption.

REFERENCE
The Regional of Queens Municipality is a regional municipality in southwestern Nova Scotia that is a centre of outdoor activities with diverse geography within its 2,760 sq km (1,070 sq mi) area. Its boundary includes all of Queens County except for First Nations reserves, formed in 1996 through an amalgamation of the Town of Liverpool and the Municipality of the County of Queens with 12 other communities. Queens RM has a coat of arms and modern logo branding (Queens Coast with a QC initialed logo using a different colour scheme). Both are shown in pictures behind the flag in each post.
