REGION OF QUEENS MUNICIPALITY, NS (Canada)
Design 3A
Sun on modern Tricolour
Queens RM’s colour scheme is a medium intensity four colour combination of blue-purple, white, teal, and gold (sea, contrast, forest, and sun, I’m guessing). There is no imagery useful for a flag because the logo for its new Queens Coast name is just a QC wordmark (which also happens to be initials for the province of Quebec). As a result, I brought in the coat of arms’ setting sun, in full. Those limitations then meant the entire series 3 of designs is just a survey of flag fields suitable for it, where the sun can only appear in the blue-purple for decent contrast, the teal has to be separated by the white, and the sun is of notable size due to its slightly fine details. The popular vertical tricolour field starts off this series 3 in this design.
This municipality recently told me they have a flag featuring their coat of arms (pic 2 of post), but no more detail. So this is now just a design exercise without possibility of collaboration or adoption.

REFERENCE
The Regional of Queens Municipality is a regional municipality in southwestern Nova Scotia that is a centre of outdoor activities with diverse geography within its 2,760 sq km (1,070 sq mi) area. Its boundary includes all of Queens County except for First Nations reserves, formed in 1996 through an amalgamation of the Town of Liverpool and the Municipality of the County of Queens with 12 other communities. Queens RM has a coat of arms and modern logo branding (Queens Coast with a QC initialed logo using a different colour scheme). Both are shown in pictures behind the flag in each post.
