REGION OF QUEENS MUNICIPALITY, NS (Canada)
Design 2C
13 stripes shield
Running contrary to Design 2B, this design added stripes to the ocean design of alternating blue and gold stripes. Thirteen such stripes, one for each community within the municipality, are now present instead of the original seven that was purely for the sake of design. The top bar with the three trees was also reduced in height, and the tree sizes along with them, to also allot for a slight enlargement of the prominent sun. The same was actually done for the waves, with each of the new 13 waves being half the size of the original seven to leave a half of an original wave height for enlarged sun space.
This municipality recently told me they have a flag featuring their coat of arms (pic 2 of post), but no more detail. So this is now just a design exercise without possibility of collaboration or adoption.

REFERENCE
The Regional of Queens Municipality is a regional municipality in southwestern Nova Scotia that is a centre of outdoor activities with diverse geography within its 2,760 sq km (1,070 sq mi) area. Its boundary includes all of Queens County except for First Nations reserves, formed in 1996 through an amalgamation of the Town of Liverpool and the Municipality of the County of Queens with 12 other communities. Queens RM has a coat of arms and modern logo branding (Queens Coast with a QC initialed logo using a different colour scheme). Both are shown in pictures behind the flag in each post.
