Printables

I used to be a graphic designer, and I have used those technical and artistic skills to format the images in the posts linked below. I didn’t create most of the images, but I touched them up, cropped them and sized them.

The links below contain posts with graphics that were designed for printing using conventional photo processing machines. The pictures are mostly 6″ x 4″ in size, just like most photos you get from your digital camera. However, there are some larger prints.

I made these for decorative purposes, to slip into a binder, for a school locker, decorate at home, or whatever. They would make great graphic sources for photo transfer gifts, like getting a picture on a mug, blanket, magnet, etc. Most graphics on the Internet weren’t designed this way so it’s more a matter of convenience to have these ready to print perfectly on photo machines available everywhere.

  1. What are the copyrights on these images? I’d love to use one on the cover of a regional directory I am producing. Please advise!

    • Hi Kristen, it depends on the image because some are corporate, and some I created in part or whole. Any content I didn’t create from scratch, I found online from sources that didn’t address copyright or posted it for fan download. I don’t repost so there are always something new, like this size format for printables, or different monitor sizes not addressed by the source. Often, I’m not even sure where I found an image was where it originated. That’s the Internet. There’s all kinds of stuff. Most don’t address copyright. I just make sure I don’t make any money from it and that the original was never meant to make money, so it’s more promotional to make certain images available and usable to more people rather than stealing from anybody’s income. If you really need a copyright, I suggest going to the source of the subject of the image, like the NFL or a team for something with their logo on it, or whatever studio might have produced Alice in Wonderland if you’re looking for one of those. I wouldn’t claim to own copyright to any entire image here. I wouldn’t care if anyone stole it. Lots of people have!

  2. Hi I wanted to know if you have a picture of NFL Helmets only that are approx. 2″ in size that are clear and printable. I’ve been looking everywhere and haven’t found any really good ones.
    Thanks!

    • Hi Lori, just search for team name and helmet, rather than NFL. Narrow your search to large sized images (Search Tools, change “Any Size” to “Large” in Google). That gives you images with enough pixels for your need. Then download the ones you think you can crop to a square size without chopping off the helmets, and confirm it by doing it in a graphics program. If you want a uniform set, you’ll have to look for various teams and a common style. But otherwise, nobody seems to have made a set for your needs.

    • Hi Ken, I don’t. I only had time to get around to NFL ones. Then other stuff got in the way. Sorry. However, lots of graphics to be found. Just search for images larger than 2MB of logos and crop to 1800×1200 pixels. That should be plenty for 6×4 printouts.
