I absolutely LOVE looking at close-up, close-cropped portraits. Some people find them a little intense to look at. Others find it creepy, especially if the people are creepy in some ways… like Twilight vampires and werewolves, maybe?
Nah! I don’t even like Twilight, but I have to admit I do like the pictures below formatted for properly sized and cropped iPad wallpapers at 1024 x 1024 pixels. The public relations folks for Twilight and New Moon did a great job at getting these portraits from the Twilight and New Moon movies. They were available in less than close-up pictures, which I have formatted to large size posters. I then close-cropped them down for the iPad wallpapers below, which, I have to admit, looked pretty darn good!
I’ll have to wait and see if Twilight fans will use these on their iPads… or if there are many Twilight fans with iPads. Most Twilight fans are young and probably can’t afford the iPad right yet, or justify spending the money on it yet. We’ll see how many of the older ones have iPads and won’t mind being seen, possibly ridiculed, with large portraits of their favourite Twilight characters. 🙂

I just got the my iPad today and I’m a huge twilight fan- 29yr old from TX
Thx for the picsv;)
Most excellent! Thank you for taking the time to let me know. I’ll have a few more Twilight iPad wallpapers in a month or so (June). I’ve got scenes, logos, etc. Just takes time to do them and I’m trying to get through the NFL team logo collection first. 🙂
The 3G capability is a killer feature for the iPad, in my opinion. Undoubtedly the iPad’s UI is a hit with consumers, as is the user experience in general, but the ability to remain connected while traveling, be it just around town or internationally (as international providers become available) elevates the device from being an amazing entertainment and media player to a lifestyle changer, in terms of both work and play.
Thanks for the insight, Katie. I’m still going to wait it out a bit before getting my hands on one, though. As Digital Citizen as I might be, I don’t even have a cell phone. 🙂
[…] So when I do get my iPad I expect to be able to pretty it up just like my iPhone and iPod touch. I went looking for iPad Twilight wallpapers and came up with only less than 20 of them. The places I found them were http://www.coolipadwallpaper.com/ and Digital Citizen. […]
Just to let you know, hope this gets to who designed the wallpapers, I am one of the much older Twilight fans, 70 later this year!, and thank you, I have been brave enough to put a great close up of Edward Cullen as my IPad wallpaper, scoff who may!!
Wow! Good for you! Thank you!
