I created these tagging challenges for fans of North American professional football, or people who know lots of those fans. The tagging challenges can be done on Facebook, MySpace, LiveJournal or other platforms where you can tag people on pictures.

The idea is to see how diverse is the group of football fans you know, and how does that compare to your fellow football loving friends. It’s no fun if everybody supported the team you supported, you know!

  • Pick a Facebook tagging meme of your choice based on the leagues below: National Football League (NFL), Canadian Football League (CFL) and Arena Football League (AFL).
  • Tag one person you know whose favourite team is represented by the team logo. It has to be that person’s favourite team as you can’t tag a person twice on the same photo.
  • How many teams can you tag? And how does this compare to your friends who might have done this same challenge?

Here’s how to get these graphics for your tagging fun:

  • Click on a picture below to get it at full size.
  • Right click on that picture and save to your computer.
  • Upload it to your Facebook profile.
  • Tag your friends!

Fancy yourself quite the social sports fan, or this isn’t your sport? Try the same Facebook tagging challenges for:

Contrary to the slightly nasty Facebook picture tagging meme of people who Should NOT do certain things given on Friday the 13th, this is a positive one to encourage people to try certain things as you think they should. The next one should be pretty fun!

In case you don’t recognize some of these people, they are as follows, left to right:

  • Top: LeBron James, Christie Brinkley, the current Dalai Lama, Emily Dickinson, Tiger Woods
  • Middle: Wangari Matthai, Pope Benedict the whatever, Canadian flag maple leaf, Barack Obama, Miley Cyrus
  • Bottom: Bill Gates, Arianna Huffington, Brad Pitt, Rihana, Lang Lang

I’m too tired to put links to all these people but you can Google them, and maybe guess why I’ve put labeled each as such.

OK. I’ll be the first to admit this Facebook picture tagging meme might be a bit on the mean side, but not if you use it right and only tag people you have as Facebook friends (i.e. not people who you don’t have so you would effectively be deriding them behind their backs).

This is a Facebook picture tagging meme of people who Should NOT do certain things. Hey, we all have things we’re either bad at. This will mildly test the strength of your friendships to see if people you know have gotten over things, or are comfortable having it broadcast to the world. In that sense, though, I caution you to use this carefully if you choose to use it at all. This is a bit more than just fun and games, but there are some people who don’t care for fun and games who might like it, and that’s why I’ve created it. There is a Should Try counter karma version to encourage people to try certain civilized things.

In case you don’t recognize some of these people, they are as follows, left to right:

  • Top: Adam Sandler as Happy Gilmore, Joe Biden, Larry King, Ted Haggard, Paris Hilton
  • Middle: Connie Chung, Milli Vanilli, Rush Limbaugh, Osama bin Laden, Pope Benedict the whatever
  • Bottom: Michael Jackson, Sarah Palin, Chris Brown, Rosie O’Donnell, George W. Bush
