Congratulations to the University of Northern Iowa for its monumental upset of the #1 ranked overall Kansas Jayhawks in the 2010 NCAA March Madness Tournament Second Round. Here are some advertising free wallpapers and printable logo postcards for your fans since I saw there wasn’t really any good stuff online for your supporters. The story why I’m doing this follows the technicalities you need to know to find the wallpaper you need, if you care to read the serendipitous story on how this came about.

Now as to how this came about…
About a month ago, I had gotten my hands on an incredible collection of vector logos of professional and US college sport teams. It was perfect for me, with the collection of NFL logo wallpapers I had already created since I didn’t want to make wallpapers with athletes that changed each year and have grossly outdated posts soon. A few weeks after that, a commenter requested Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas University Jayhawks wallpapers and iPhone backgrounds, without knowing this. As a result, I said KU would be the first to come.
And I stuck with that. I was finalizing the methodology to minimize the “production” work to create the various wallpaper and phone background sizes, allowing me to spend most of my time on the design process which I loved best, when the UNI Panthers upstaged the Jayhawks and shocked the world… not to mention busted almost half the nation’s brackets!
UNI Panthers, eh? Hey, now there’s a cool nickname of a hero or a villain! The UNIPANTHER!
Or for guys on your campus looking for or preying on older women, you can call him the UNI-Manther! Hahahaha!
Anyway, with Kansas bowing out stunningly, the demand for KU wallpapers and PDA backgrounds suddenly plummeted. Naturally, some people were going to be wanting to show some UNI-pride, so I checked online for UNI wallpapers. Well, I didn’t find much that looked very attractive. No offense intended to anybody but I just didn’t even liked any of them.
So without a lot of University of Northern Iowa wallpapers and phone backgrounds available, I figured I’d make some for those people… even though their team also busted MY brackets!
I’ve never liked KU much anyway, and I’ll get around to their wallpapers and phone backgrounds, but for now, their NCAA March Madness loss just cost them a tiny bit more.
So I hope you like these wallpapers, University of Northern Iowa supporters. Of course, someone is going to have to tell them about it cause I’m not sure a lot of UNI Panther supporters crosses path with my blog. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
