Warning: This post contains offensive humour so if that’s not your thing, please do not read.

In March 2009, Facebook tagging was all the rage. As I used to be a graphic designer, I created many of these memes, rather than steal from different sites and repost. However, because most people were doing the latter, many people stole mine and my traffic dwindled. Relatively. It went from thousands of page views per day to hundreds.

But that was OK. I was hoping my memes would get stolen. That was my indicator that they were worth something. Judging all the places where they got stolen and posted to, I would have to say they were pretty good, hehehe.

Too bad some people took credit for them or branded them with their logos and removed mine, even if it just said “found on” rather than something like “created by”.

Anyhow, fast forward to 2010. My memes are still getting downloaded, but not nearly as much. Now, though, it’s probably more in part due to Facebook tagging no longer being the rage it once was, rather than the dilution of reposts all over the Internet.

People have also gotten smarter on Facebook behaviour not to engage in many of the Facebook tagging themes. This is especially true for memes that may not promote an image of them that they’d like to project to certain “friends” they have on Facebook.

So with all that, I’d like to flaunt my sense of humour a little bit to share some Facebook tagging memes which I rejected during my days of brainstorming memes to create for people’s Facebook fun.

This isn’t the first time I’ve shared some inappropriate Facebook tagging memes. It started with the warped Naughty Mister Men & Little Miss, where the original Mister Men & Little Miss meme were connected to sexual fetishes. There was also the Most Wanted FBI (Facebook Inc.) Fugitives and Terrorists Facebook tagging meme that could have been abused by kids. The Favourite drug survey Facebook tagging meme wasn’t exactly “professional”, either, for the adults who have colleagues or young family members as their Facebook friends who could see it. I had also made one to tag your friends as dick heads, but I don’t think WordPress would let me post those drawings (not real pictures), so I’m refraining.

But you know, at some point, I’m going to stop taking the blame for others’ actions. Nothing will ever suit everybody’s taste and people should step up to be responsible for their actions at some point. This isn’t like me giving someone a gun where they killed or hurt someone and not taking responsibility. It’s Facebook tagging pictures!

That said, I will still mention that I highly recommend you NOT use the Facebook tagging memes referenced here. I hope you like them to have a look and a laugh, if that, but that’s it. I’m not going to even dare you to use it because that will only incite some people to do so.

I hope you’ve had a good laugh. And if you were offended, well, don’t say I didn’t warn you at the start. I’m not going to be that Canadian and apologize after that warning at the very start! :-)
