I would love to show these inspiring videos to my students, but my school does not allow you-tube video. Is there any way to purchase a DVD of these videos?

Hi Michelle, I don’t know where one gets these videos. I suspect the footage may be from real sources, but the music and/or comments, or some of the compilations of segments, were fan created. I would suggest you propose your school to trust the judgment of its teachers to select what YouTube content can be shown. Or suggest it to the kids somehow, even if low tech like writing out the URLs on a piece of paper and photocopying. It’s not like they don’t know YouTube or can’t get access to it. Sorry I can’t help any more.
You picked a good topic for this post and you wrote about it well. I have seen a couple of other internet sites with similar content but no 1 has done a better job than you on writing about it.
